Stay Informed with the *BE ALERT* Emergency Notification System
Stay informed with the *BE ALERT* Emergency Notification System. Severe weather notifications, and other urgent community alerts directly from First Responders to you. Learn more by clicking here.
And Don’t forget the Mobile Messaging App!
The *BE ALERT* system now supports the use of a mobile messaging app available for iPhone and Android users. This app connects you directly to the alert message. For example, with the mobile app – once you are alerted to an emergency that may be affecting you, the app gives you the ability to send photo’s and other information back to us. The alert now becomes two way. If you are impacted by a tornado, flooding or some other emergency you can now “reply” to the alert with a picture so we can note impacted areas.
This is a huge advancement in public warning and notification, please consider downloading the app today.
